Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 at Beaumont Puy De Domme. Her parents who were dental surgeons and teacher recognized and encouraged her passion for acting and theatre as early as she was a child. This superseded an initial desire to be a primatologist due to her love of monkeys. In her early years rising to the heights of fame was quick and filled with early success. After finishing her studies and completing her studies, she took part in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. The show awarded her the The title of the Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actress. Tautou attended the Institut Catholique de Paris, in addition to attending church as a young girl. However she has now removed herself from this history. She has stated that she is not officially Catholic. In addition to acting, she pursued modelling and was the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Photography is also her love of hers and she has been exhibiting her work in the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. Through her photos, she focuses a lot on the spotlight and celebrity. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her debut performance as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie is a worldwide box office smash and was recognized by numerous award shows around the world. Amelie was the highest-rated french-language film to hit the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in various films, ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long dimanche de fauncailles. Later, she made her way to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
